# OpenFreeMap Dark style notices Retrieved 2026-09-11 from https://tiles.openfreemap.org/styles/dark. Richest modifications: changed circle-11 to circle_11 in place_town, place_city, and place_city_large; removed landcover_wood.paint.fill-pattern (wood-pattern); excluded maritime boundaries from all three boundary layers; reduced road contrast and width at regional zoom, with minor roads and motorway labels appearing as the map zooms in. At runtime, labels show one line: the Latin name, without the second native-script line; below zoom 3 the style reads zoom 0-1 tiles; a coarse water layer shows at zoom 3-6 while tiles load.
